DarkWalker metal print by Cristina McAllister. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Though she may appear frightening with her skull-like face paint, I imagine this character as a shaman with an important sacred duty within her community - to guide the souls of the departed and to perform the sacred burial rituals to ensure that the body is properly returned to the Earth.
The crow is her longtime companion - a trusted scout and guardian. Her connection with the spider allows her to sense when death is near, to follow the ethereal strands of the web of Life and Fate to meet the dying at their moment of transition.
She counsels them with respect and compassion, guiding them in meditation upon their experiences in life and preparing them to return their organic matter to the Earth, to give back to the Living System that provided them with sustenance while they were alive.
