Gaia is the mythological envisioning of our living planet, an Earth Goddess radiant with abundance and diversity.
She is not an ethereal spirit, but grounded; numinous yet rooted in the soil, cloaked in life-giving water, connecting all the elements of the Natural World (including ourselves), seeking balance and harmony.
She represents the awesome power and majesty of the Natural World - the foundation of all Life, and our relationship to our world and the living beings that we share it with.
We must honor this sacred relationship, respect this system that sustains us and live in Right Relationship to the land and living beings.
